Diary- 26 April
Okay, so here’s the story. When’s the last time I posted on here….February? Well that’s the last time I actively was calorie counting or even…well, thinking about eating healthy and portion control and all that. I fell off the wagon. But..something weird happened. Out of nowhere, my appetite shrunk to a third of the size what I was eating before. I was (and still am) eating whatever I wanted…but I didn’t realize until I stopped and paid attention how small my portions were. Weird…didn’t think anything of it…until I weighed myself.
2 months later and, drumroll please….12 pounds lighter! WHAA?! Don’t ask me how the hell that happened. Faith, trust and pixie dust, I assure you, because I was not actively doing anything. Honestly, I was consciously choosing unhealthy things.
If anything, that teaches us one thing, folks. Portion control is EVERYTHING! I’m not sure if this is for everyone, but for me, I can eat whatever the hell I want as long as it’s not a lot. My diet now usually consists of two meals a day. I wake up after noon usually, don’t get hungry until around 4 and eat my first meal then. Usually just a veggie burger or a grilled cheese or something. Sometimes some dried mangos or a small ice cream or something with it. Then, I’m not hungry again until about midnight and I eat my second meal…again, just one thing. A quesadilla or leftovers from my family’s dinner. THAT’S IT. I’m not hungry other than that. Some days my appetite miraculously grows and I eat more. But usually, that’s it. Again, probably half to a third of what I ate before.

12 pm: “Salvador Deli” Holy cow tempeh and cilantro pesto sandwich on whole grain bread (Delicious, but expensive….but delicious)
